4-Way Reversing Valve Description
4-Way Reversing Valve is a component to switch the system between cooling and heating modes. By switching the flow of refrigerant, the air conditioner can incorporate the functions of cooling in summer and heating in winter together. The 4-way reversing valve consists of main valve, pilot valve, and solenoid coil. The valve is a part of the refrigerant circuit of compressor, condenser, indoor heat exchanger and other components. The pilot valve controls the main valve through pressure difference to change the direction of refrigerant flow and further switch between heating and cooling. The changeover is reliable and flexible. It can be applied in heat pump systems like central, unitary, room air conditioner and so on.

●Bi-stable 4-way reversing valve can work as requested even after being deenergized by optimizing the design solenoid coil. No power is consumed except shifting.
●After the optimizing the material of stainless steel products, the power consumption can be reduced by 5%.
Nominal Capacities are given at 130℉ condensing,45℉ Evaporator, 10℉ S.H., 10℉ Sub-cool, 64 btu/ldm △h Evap., 2PSI.
For Nominal Capacity using other Refrigerants Multiply R22 Capacity by: (0.73 for R134A), (0.93 for R407C).
For Recommended Minimum Capacities, Multiply Nominal Capacity by 0.5.

2.0) Ambient Humidity:95% RH or less
3.0) Fluid Temperature: -25℃~100℃
5. Notes for application
1.0) The Valve Body shall be cooled below 120℃ with water or wet cloth during brazing.
2.0) Avoid moisture or impurities entering valve.
3.0) Avoid any impact like dropping onto the floor in order to protect the tube and inside structure. Aproper check is requested prior to application for any valve impacted by outside forece.
4.0) Make sure the power supply can match the voltage of solenoid coil.
5.0) Sufficient lead wire is requested to conect the coil.
6.0) The power supply must be cut off before removing the coil off the valve. The coil alone maybe burnt when being energized long.
7.0) When making purchasing decision, please notify the product number, related system, refrigerant and coil request.
8.0) The specifiction maybe changed withour notice.
9.0) When the valve being installed, the axis of main body shall be horizontal. A correct installation is very important to the valve’s performance. The following installation is not recommended.
